denim jacket

dkny jacket {very old / similar here and here} . h&m dress {old / similar} . sam edelman boots . mulberry handbag . ray ban sunglasses .  julep nail polish in "vanna"

I've had this denim jacket hanging in my closet longer than I should admit. It's very old, but I still remember picking it out. I liked that it wasn't so loose in shape, that it came in a little at the waist, defined it a bit more than the standard version. My love of fitted jackets and coats goes all the way back to my elementary school bird coat, this huge colorful monstrosity that made me look like a gigantic and very lost tropical bird. Or a dip dyed humpty dumpty. Your choice. #scarredforlife. Next time I'm home I'm going to dig up a photo.

While this jacket hasn't gotten much use over the years, I couldn't part with it. There was always a chance it would come back into style and if that were the case, I'd want it. With their popularity steadily increasing now was the time. And so I pulled it out and paired it with an old but not quite as old spotted sundress for a casual spring look.
