spring inspiration: hair

Around this time every year I decide I need a change when it comes to my hairstyle, that I'm finally going to cut all off to that perfect Grace Kelly, shoulder sweeping bob. But as I spent years wanting it to be the length it currently is, I've been having a bit of trouble deciding if I should really go for it this time or not. I have a decision to make, and an appointment next week. Regardless, it definitely needs to come up a little in length.

This spring my goal is to change things up and try some of those new styles I've had pinned for ages. What am I collecting them for if I'm not going to try them? I'd also like to achieve loose waves and that pretty, messy natural looking texture. I can tell you right now the latter is not in the cards for me.

Five looks to try this season:

Do you have any spring hair goals?

  1. I need my fingers to start cooperating with my hair so that I can create some of these looks! Love the braid on braid! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston

  2. I pin tons and tons of hairstyles too, yet I always seem to just wear it down and straight. I need to start trying some new things too! Maybe a little variety will make you feel like you don't need to chop your hair.

  3. Totally loving the braids! Now if I could just braid my own hair... then I'd be good! The braid on braid is so pretty! I really need to figure this whole braiding thing out.

  4. cute

  5. I always have the same feelings about my hair! I wish I could pull off a Grace Kelly bob, but I think my second grade hair cut ruined bobs for me.

I also love that Gatsby inspired updo and will be trying it out ASAP!

  6. Omg I love the half up cute! I understand your dilemma though, before I cut my hair it was so long and I had worked so hard to get it to that long length! But once I cut it, I felt so fresh and almost like a new person :) Can't wait to see what you end up doing!
