First things first, Happy Christmas Eve! I'm going to be around a little less the rest of this week and next as I'll have limited internet access, but I have some posts lined up to keep things moving. If all goes as planned we should be in for a good time so feel free to follow along as we go on this whacky adventure via instagram @proseccointhepark.
I love New Years Eve. Growing up it was always my favorite holiday, aside from the Fourth of July. Come to think of it, I may just have a thing for fireworks. Regardless, there is something so exciting and magical about it. We have rung in last several years with family and friends in Tortola, a pretty little island in the British Virgin Islands, complicating my love affair with sparkly things. Sand and sequins don't mix well and it's too hot to wear anything heavy.
This dress is light but interesting with sheer paneling at the top and a little bit of shine in the fabric. It would definitely be appropriate to wear on a warm weather getaway. Plus it's affordable and can be worn straight through the rest of the year. I'd pair it with sparkly heels, a beaded clutch, statement bracelet, and maybe a fun head piece for a glamorous 1920s feel.
What are you planning to wear for New Years?
