Of all the things I wanted to have in my closet this season, a camel blazer was at the top of my list. It's one of those colors that transitions well throughout the year, but there is a certain warmth that fits in perfectly with all of my favorite autumn colors. Needless to say, I've been wearing this one as often as I can without leading my coworkers to assume that it is the only blazer I own. It's not, I also have a black one.
One of the things I'm loving most about this blazer is how versatile it is. For example, last week I wore it over a pale pink sweater with jeans and nude flats (as seen here) and blended in perfectly with the Brooks Brothers crowd while picking out a birthday bow tie for JD. This is kind of the opposite of that look. It's a nice thing to be able to do, it makes the blazer feel completely different. For a more downtown look I paired it with a sheer embroidered top, black jeans, and ankle strap flats.
