uniquely you with modcloth
Earlier this week I was asked to participate in ModCloth's Uniquely You challenge to style their lovely "I Ladylike it Like That" dress. By now we all know how I feel about dresses. In keeping with the pretty floral print, I would pair it with rose inspired accessories: a classic rose gold watch, my favorite Rifle Paper Co. iphone case, earrings and sandals to match, and an oxblood satchel.
One of the things I like most about ModCloth is that they carry so many different styles. My main draws seem to be the vintage inspired pieces. I have this thing for the 1920s and I'll take anything Grace Kelly ever wore. Seriously. I once got in trouble at the Cooper Hewitt when some of her Van Cleef and Arpels jewels were on display. But in all fairness I had already exited the exhibit and was taking a picture of the elaborate Carnegie staircase. Her tiara just so happened to be in the background.
Some other dresses I love:
This one reminds me of one Grace Kelly wore in To Catch a Thief.
How perfect would this maxi dress be for a summer day in the city?
And I love the light and airy, Santorini feel of this dress.
Happy first official day of summer and have a great weekend!
