I know what you're thinking, has she lost all of her other shoes? Well, I can assure you that I haven't. Between all of the walking I've done over the last couple of days, the heat, and my unwillingness to stop wearing pants in spite of it, I'm just trying to make myself comfortable. Plus, I didn't want to walk home from UCB in sandals I don't quite trust just yet on a potentially rainy evening. We're still in that stage where I've wore them around but not quite enough to not have a surprise blister or two. And anyone with feet knows how annoying and limiting it can be to have a blister. And why am I still going on about this?

Last night JD and I met up with some friends to see Broad City Live at UCB. I wasn't quite sure what to expect (were they going to do a sketch, improv, stand up?) but I very much enjoyed it. They did stand up, then cast member Hannibal Buress did stand up, and Har Mar Superstar sang two songs. It was a pretty cool experience. They do shows once a month so you should definitely try to go if you're in town for the next one!

I wore this top yesterday during the day and ended up changing into a blue tee before the show since rain was expected. For some reason, in these photos you can't really see it, but these pants are in fact distressed, though they didn't start off that way. A few years ago I split the left knee and held on to them thinking I might find a way to repurpose them. When I finally remembered that I had them, I did just that, adding an intentional rip to the right leg. Clearly it's going to take a few more washes to get a noticeable look.

And on that note, thanks for reading, and enjoy your Thursday!
